How should I take Viagra?

Before taking Viagra, consult your doctor and inform him about all your diseases to avoid health risks and potential side effects. Your doctor will recommend you the exact dose, which you should take as your doctor prescribed. Do not take in larger or smaller doses or for longer than recommended (should be taken not more than once in 24 hours). Follow the directions of your doctor or prescription label directions.

Viagra helps you maintain an erection when there is sexual stimulation.  You will not have an erection just by taking a pill, the stimulation is necessary. Your doctor will give you all the instructions.

Viagra should be taken only when needed, 30 minutes before sexual intercourse. Usually the recommended dose is 50 mg. The drug may be taken up to 4 hours before sexual activity. It is very important to take Viagra not more than once per day.  Try to avoid high fat meal when taking the drug; such food can delay the time of the effect of this drug. Try not to eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while you are being treated with Viagra.

If some side effects occur while having sexual activity, you should stop and call your doctor. These serious side effects can be dizziness or nausea, chest pain, numbness, in the arms, neck, or jaw, visual loss and some others. If you have used too much of this drug and overdose occurred seek emergency medical attention immediately.
